88. The territory subject to a licence must be comprised within a single perimeter and its area must not be less than 50 square kilometres nor exceed 400 square kilometres.
Notwithstanding the first paragraph, the Minister may grant a licence in respect of a territory less than 50 square kilometres in area situated between parcels of land that are subject to a claim, a mining exploration licence, a mining lease or a mining concession or between parcels of land which are not subject to the granting of a mining exploration licence.
